Hoop-Law 2022: Charity Basketball Tournament

HoopLaw is a charity basketball tournament held each year. This year it was held at the Richmond Olympic Oval on September 10, 2022. Hoop-Law brings together the legal community as well as local law schools to raise money for charities. This year the three charities HoopLaw raised money for include: Children’s Hearing & Speech Centre of BC, Night Hoops Basketball Society, and Aboriginal Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters.

Paulo’s Pizza supported HoopLaw by donating pizzas. We are happy to be part of this event and support our community as well as charities in need. The event was able to raise $120,000 for the charities listed above.

Standing in Solidarity with Ukraine

The nightmare of this war is unfolding before our eyes. The bravery of President Zelenskyy and the people of Ukraine has been exemplary. We stand united with our brother and sisters from Ukraine. Whether you are an individual, corporation, city, state, or country, we should do what we can for the victims of this unprovoked war.

The Dassan family is donating $1,000 to humanitarian relief efforts for the people of Ukraine. Furthermore, we will also be donating 10% of one week’s sale of Paulo’s Pizza (March 1st to 7th, 2022).

Helping the Homeless

It was an absolute pleasure for Paulo's Pizza to partner up with Cameron and Anne as well as Gregory from Blanket BC Society to give back to our community. With our combined efforts, we were able to donate blankets, sleeping bags, and hot pizzas to Triage Shelter and Al Mitchell Place located in the Downtown Eastside. We are blessed to have the chance to give back to those in need.
